CHINA SOURCING / BUYER GUIDE
Electric cargo tricycle sourcing from China
Buying for deliveries, a farm, a warehouse or local goods transport? Tell me what the tricycle needs to carry and where it will operate. I am Jason at Zibo Flion Import & Export Co., Ltd. I have exported electric vehicles and coordinate sourcing with factory contacts in China. You can begin without a complete technical specification.
Describe the cargo and daily work
The starting point is the goods, their typical weight and dimensions, and the loading method. Explain the route and road conditions, including slopes or narrow access where relevant. A vehicle suitable for one operation may need a different configuration for another.
If you have an open cargo box, covered body or other loading arrangement in mind, send a reference image. These are buyer requirements to discuss with the factory; available bodies and the selected model's stated load capacity need confirmation.
- Goods carried, typical load and any bulky items.
- Delivery route, site conditions and loading or unloading method.
- Preferred cargo body, model photo or product link, if available.
Send four details to start an enquiry
An importer or distributor can send a short brief first. I use it to discuss relevant options with suppliers and identify the questions that need a factory answer. Actual vehicle photos can be shared directly after you contact me.
- Intended use: what the vehicle will carry and how it will be used.
- A preferred model, reference image or description of the vehicle.
- Estimated order quantity, even if it is still provisional.
- Destination country and city or port.
Confirm the configuration with the factory
After the initial brief, we check the proposed cargo body, stated payload, motor, battery, charger and controls against the selected model. Tell me about the charging supply and any functions you need. The factory must confirm compatibility and the specification that will be quoted.
Range, climbing ability and load figures depend on the actual configuration and operating conditions. They should be supported by information for the proposed vehicle before you rely on them in a purchase decision.
- Battery type and capacity, charging arrangements and charger plug.
- Cargo dimensions, stated load capacity, brakes and requested equipment.
- Spare parts, maintenance information and documents available for review.
Agree packing and the supply scope
Confirm whether you need an assembled vehicle or a packing arrangement for local assembly. Any disassembled supply option, assembly information and container loading plan must be checked with the factory for the selected order.
The quotation should identify the vehicle, included battery and charger, accessories, packing and any agreed parts or follow-up services. If you need separate parts for maintenance, list them so availability can be checked.
Quote for your destination and agreed services
Each enquiry receives an individual quotation once the model, configuration, quantity and service scope have been checked. Minimum quantity and production timing are confirmed with the factory for that enquiry.
Before ordering, the importer should confirm local import and intended-use requirements for the exact vehicle. Product cost, freight, sourcing or coordination fees, clearance responsibility and destination charges are agreed individually. A vehicle quotation should not be assumed to include every local charge.
Common sourcing questions
Can I start with a photo instead of a technical specification?
Yes. Send the photo or model link, explain the goods and route, and include estimated quantity and destination. I can then take the remaining configuration questions to the factory.
Can the cargo body and battery be selected?
Tell me the body and battery requirements you have in mind. Available options, compatibility, load capacity and the final configuration must be confirmed for the selected model before quotation and order agreement.
Does the quotation include delivery and clearance at destination?
Only services expressly included in the agreed quotation are covered. We clarify freight, clearance responsibility and local charges separately for your destination and requested scope.
