CHINA SOURCING / BUYER GUIDE
Tile sourcing from China for importers and project buyers
I help importers, distributors and project buyers find tiles through factory contacts in China and coordinate the order details we agree on. Start with a catalogue code or reference image, an estimated quantity and your destination. You can also request relevant catalogue options or send a design concept. We confirm detailed specifications with the relevant suppliers before a formal quotation.
Tile catalogue selections
These five catalogue selections are starting points for your tile enquiry. Send the product code, required size, quantity and destination for an individual quotation. The images show the designs and pattern layouts presented in the source catalogue.

Prepare a clear tile buying brief
Reference images or catalogue codes help identify the appearance you want. An estimated overall quantity is enough to start the enquiry. If an order contains several designs or dimensions, we work through the quantity for each selection before a formal quotation so the supplier can check availability against the agreed requirements.
- Pattern or reference image, intended application and preferred finish.
- Dimensions and any required thickness or product specifications.
- Quantity for each pattern and size, with your preferred measurement unit.
- Packing requirements, destination and any product documents your buyer needs.
A real order: letting the retailer choose
During an in-person visit to a building materials market in Kazakhstan, I met a shop owner who knew what his local customers wanted. He specified the sizes, I supplied catalogues, and he selected the patterns. I then sourced the tiles and coordinated transport and destination clearance for that order.
That experience also showed why destination charges need checking before an overall delivery price is agreed. For each new order, we clarify the services included, the responsibilities involved and which local costs still need confirmation.
Compare options before confirming an order
Multiple patterns and sizes can be discussed in one enquiry. I check supplier options against your brief and bring together the quoted product, minimum quantity, packing and production timing for review. These details need confirmation for the selected products.
Small sample pieces can be arranged subject to availability. We confirm the sample format, charges and shipping separately. Once a selection is agreed, the order should identify the chosen references, quantities, packing and delivery terms clearly.
Common sourcing questions
Can I ask for several tile patterns and sizes?
Yes. You can start with your preferred patterns, sizes and an estimated total quantity. We confirm the quantity for each selection before a formal quotation, then check minimum quantities, availability and packing arrangements with the relevant supplier.
Can I start with a design concept instead of a catalogue code?
Yes. Share reference images and explain the intended application. We can use them to discuss available options, then confirm the exact product before quoting or ordering.
Can you provide tile samples and a complete delivery price?
Sample availability and costs are confirmed for your selection. For delivery, share the destination and requested service scope; destination charges and clearance responsibilities must be checked separately before an overall price is agreed.
Do I need a complete tile specification to enquire?
No. Start with a catalogue code or reference image, intended use, estimated quantity and destination. Share the dimensions and requirements you already know. We work through the remaining details and check supplier responses before a formal quotation.
What is the minimum order quantity for a tile design?
The relevant supplier confirms the minimum quantity for the selected design, size and order arrangement after your enquiry. There is no single minimum stated here for all designs. Send your estimated quantity so we can check the proposed selection.
